The great Bhutanese Lama Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche introduced Lama Ole Nydahl and his wife Hannah to the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa. They became the Karmapa’s first Western students.

Lama Ole Nydahl teaches the way and goal of Diamond Way Buddhism through constant meditation courses and close interaction with his students. As an accomplisher of the teachings and methods, his fresh openness inspires. He exemplifies the goal everybody can reach through the direct experience of the nature of mind.
